Just a quick note to say how excited I am to actually have a copy of DBP 2 in my hands. I really like the way the thermograph on the cover turned out. Bright, artistic. This is so much fun!
Discovering Biological Psychology 2e

Congradulations on your second edition. I’m assuming that the second edition has more current data on the topics discussed in the first edition. Is that you on the cover? I think is it and I do like the bright colors.

It’s sweet that you think the cover is me–It does look like this girl could be a member of our family, but no, she’s not. Maybe that’s why I liked the thermograph?

Congratulations! It has truly changed my view of textbooks now knowing the writer of one. I’ve never really thought about the writers of textbooks- you bring a very human element to your work. Your “real” personality makes the difficult subject matter that you teach tangible and easy for anyone to understand.
