"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world."-- J. R.R. Tokien

“Law firms are more profitable when they are led by managing partners who have faces that look powerful, according to a study in the current Social Psychological and Personality Science (published by SAGE”

“A new paper from MIT neuroscientists, in collaboration with Alvaro Pascual-Leone at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, offers evidence that it is easier to rewire the brain early in life. The researchers found that a small part of the brain’s visual cortex that processes motion became reorganized only in the brains of subjects who had been born blind, not those who became blind later in life.”

I find that the article titled “Positive social traits trump bad health Habits, New Studies Find” is closely related to a previously posted article about “Fat Free Talk.” Both articles work at informing us of the importance of positive thinking and positive social traits in order to better our health and self-esteem. I seriously believe this to be true since negativity can oftentimes cause depression and stress, whereas positive thinking can lead to motivation and satisfaction.
