After 20 hours of airports and planes, I returned from the ATINER conference on Friday.  To say that we had an amazing time would be an understatement. I really enjoyed the variety of topics presented at the conference, and then being in Greece was such a bonus. I have always wanted to see Greece firsthand, as it really is the root of science and democracy as we know it today. It was like going home.

It was also very special to share the experience with daughters Kristin and Karen. Talk about role reversals–the girls decided before I arrived that they would make all the decisions–where to go, what to do, so Mom would just have a relaxing vacation. And I did!

But now I’m home, grades are posted, and it’s time to get back to the business of writing!
