I felt very honored to receive an email this morning from Kelly Sonora of Online University Reviews, in which she informed me that my blog made their list of 100 top mental health and psychology blogs. Here’s what they said: “Laura Freberg, a Professor of Psychology at California Polytechnic State University, writes this fun blog about interesting news related to psychology.” I like thinking that psychology can and should be “fun.” Thanks, Kelly!

There are some old friends here….Dr. X, The Situationist, Mind Hacks, Psychology Today, Cognitive Daily, Neuroanthropology, John Grohol’s World of Psychology, and more….but other ones that are new to me, including a whole section on Forensic Psychology. I don’t know if it’s all the CSI programs on television, but my students can’t seem to get enough forensic psychology. Another blog that would probably be of great interest to students is the eHarmony labs blog.

So if you’re looking for a quick reference list to some really interesting blogs, you might want to check this out. At the same time, you can learn a lot about online educational opportunities, too. I noticed that my friends at Ashworth are reviewed on the site, too.
