Well, the results are in on my first attempt at March Madness brackets, and they’re not pretty. Okay, I sort of lost it when Tennessee didn’t go as far as I thought (but way to go Lady Vols! Karen is so pleased!). Nearly all of us picked the Bruins to win (what do you expect from a bunch of alumni). I came out #40 out of 60 people, so I guess it could have been a lot worse! Bruce won his own contest–congratulations!
What will I do differently next year? I suppose rule #1 is to enter more than one bracket. Then I can go with my emotional picks in one and my logical picks in another. I’m sure there’s a psychological decision-making principle at work there somewhere….But congrats to Kansas for a job well done, or perhaps condolences to Memphis for giving it away, depending on your point of view.
