Recently, I had the opportunity to
present a topic of current interest in Biological
Psychology at Cal
State
University San Bernardino. My subject was
the current thinking on 'Nature' and 'Nurture.' The
impetus for my
presentation was meeting the Kaufmans at a couple of prior Psychology
Conventions and they do use my book.
I was very happy to find my way around this large
and beautiful campus. We agreed that it might be
best for me to find my way to the bookstore and
we'd meet up before class.
Professor Ali Kaufman was kind enough to meet me
and guide me to the Psychology Building & their
energetic
Psychology department.
Yes, I sometimes do get lost.
Here I am in the 'other' Dr. Kaufman's office studying
old textbooks, a mutual hobby of ours.
Roger wasn't sure how many pictures would come out,
so he took quite a lot!
Here I am with Dr.
Robert Cramer Professor and Chair of
the Psychology Department. He was very gracious to come
to hear my talk and lend support. He and his department
are making significant contributions in Neuroscience and
with
plans for the future.
Here I am meeting with a couple of students and
Dr. Kaufman long after the presentation.
Another view from our hotel.
Roger working on his iPad and amused by my camera
skills!
On the way home, we stopped at a 'honey farm'
in Piru, California!
Again, I would like to thank
the Psychology Department, Dr. Robert Kramer and the Doctors Kaufman
for
the opportunity to speak.
